Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, and we are interested in hearing from you if any part of it is not.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with clear heading hierarchy on every page.
  • Keyboard navigation throughout, with a visible focus style.
  • Sufficient colour contrast in both light and dark themes.
  • Descriptive link text and labels on every form field.
  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
  • Respect for the system preference for reduced motion.
  • A dark theme that follows your operating system setting and can be overridden with the theme button in the header.

Standard we aim for

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We test against that standard but cannot guarantee it; the items below set out where we know we fall short or are still working.

Known limitations

  • Some third-party fonts are loaded from a content delivery network. If that delivery is slow, text falls back to a system serif and sans-serif.
  • If JavaScript is disabled, the main phone link still works and the site remains readable.

Telling us about a problem

If you cannot use part of this site, or if you would like information from it in another format, call 07525 802931.
